The Midwest Energy Efficiency Alliance (MEEA) always puts on a great conference and we expect this year to be no different. Join us and other energy stakeholders at MEEA’s 2016 Midwest Energy Solutions Conference February 24-26 to celebrate accomplishments and discuss the 2016 policy landscape.

At Heat Smart, we’ll be celebrating a positive year changing behaviors and helping more and more low-income families save energy. At the same time, we offer an opportunity for utilities to meet federal mandates and spend assistance program resources cost-effectively. And we’re really looking forward to meeting more utility professionals in Chicago.

Since we’re in the midst of our second pilot program to gather more data, we’re especially excited about the Thursday session: Getting Down with Data: Information’s Powerful Influence on Our EE Party. A panel of experts will address how to engage policy makers to strike a balance between consumer privacy and data use to advance energy efficiency programs, and discuss how advanced energy data is being used to inform smarter behavior change programs, target potential EE program participants and impact savings.

You may know that we give people the tools they need to stay warm and encourage lower thermostat settings which reduces demand and saves money. It’s a simple, proven idea with a HUGE impact. So if you’re going to MEEA’s Midwest Conference, stop by and see us at Booth 109. We’d be happy to show you how our program works.  See you in Chicago!
