Wool blankets are the cornerstone of our kit. Wool raises body temperature the fastest of any material, and because it’s a natural fiber, it breathes in hot weather and insulates in cold weather. Our blankets, made of a quality wool blend with a stronger, tighter weave, are durable and comfortable. In addition, they can be used for emergency kits in case of severe weather.

- How many logos do you want embroidered?
- How many colors is each logo?
Our 27-foot roll of synthetic weatherstripping will insulate around 3 standard windows and 1 door to eliminate drafts and loss of heat. They’re super-easy to use too: just unwind the roll, stretch into place and tack on with small nails or tacks. On a window, apply to the window frame above the upper window and on the sides; to the sill below the lower window; and across the lock rail. On a door, apply to the doorstop molding across the top and down the latch side; on the hinge side, apply to door frame next to molding.
Every blanket is packaged with simple tips for conserving heat. By doing this, the blanket serves as a physical, ever-present reminder to families of the need to control energy costs and turn down the thermostat at night, similar to tying a string around your finger to remember an appointment. In addition to turning the thermostat down seven to eight degrees overnight, our kit contains easy energy saving tips to help families conserve even more, such as:
- Don’t heat when you’re not home.
- Check for drafts around windows, switch plates and doors; and use weatherstripping and outlet inserts to seal them.
- Having an annual checkup on the furnace makes it run most efficiently.
- Bundle up to stay warm.
